Without Limits - A Progressive History
Our Studio Concept and presentation had several motivating sources.Early on I wanted to create a place where people could come and train and learn several things at the same time. I wanted it to be in part from some aspects of my past and from individuals who inspired me in my lifes persuits. Tony Pellone was a man that I met as an early teenager in the 1970's. He had a boxing club called the Ava Maria Youth Center in Brooklyn. I learned everything from the basics to highly advanced techniques from Tony that I use today and teach to my trainees. In fact the Studio is really dedicated to Tony Pellone's memory. Jack Dempsey was an early fistic idol of mine and all that he stood for served as a real motivation for me in my early days in boxing. Steve Prefontaine has a very special place in the Studio, like most people who saw him run I was awstruck at his courage and heart and always believed him to be the image of an Olympian Champion. Jim Thorpe is a man who was and is to me the greatest athlete in human history, whose feates of skill and prowess shall never be equalled. He too has a special place in our Studio. We make use of every inch of space in the Studio as well as every minute to better serve our clientele.Someone recently commented on our Humble spot with a quote I will not forget;" You do alot of special things for such a small place!" There in lies the profound SECRET of Without Limits.
